North Wales Manufacturing Administrative Offices
An office renovation that took advantage of the previously hidden full height of the factory building by eliminating the existing dropped ceiling and adding a large new rooftop light monitor to bring light into the center of the office. The newly exposed underside of the roof was painted black and several large closed up old windows (as in the lunchroom and new conference space) were re-opened to create views and let in natural light.
West Mount Airy Private Stage
A small private stage designed for a professional musician who wanted to be able to host small outdoor concerts from time to time. It incorporated natural unpainted wood for the stage and wing walls and a slender steel fan structure balanced on two parallel wood beams for the roof.
Plymouth Meeting Doctor’s Office
A renovation of an existing commercial space to create an outpatient office for a doctor in private practice. A main goal of this project was to create a soothing and comfortable space for patients. To that end we worked closely with an interior designer to create a palette that would complement the main design elements.
