John Andrews was educated at the University of Pennsylvania where he received his B.A. with a major in Design of the Environment in 1984 and an M. Arch from the Graduate School of Fine Arts (now Penn Design) in 1988. He worked for a variety
of firms before starting his own firm including Venturi, Rauch & Scott-Brown (now VSBA), Tony Atkin & Associates (now Atkin, Olshin, Schade Architects), the Hillier Group and Krieger +Associates Architects.
